Rachel Hahn, BSN, RN

One year ago today I took myself into South Meadows Emergency Room because I wanted to end my life. Rachel was my nurse and there hasn't been a day in the past 365 I have not thanked her in my head for making me feel cared for. I am almost one year sober and I am definitely one year stronger. I honestly wish I could give something more than Gold because, in the darkest time in my life, Rachel provided a glimpse of light. I am happy and healthy and I know that my life is not the only life Rachel has saved. She helped me realize that you don't have to be externally bleeding to need help. Thank you for saving my life, Rachel.
