Rachel cared for me during the delivery of my baby. During one of the scariest and most painful times of my life, she was a sea of calm and a pillar of strength. She listened to me talk for hours and spent all of her shift doing everything she could to give me the birth experience I wanted. Even when things went awry she was there to hold my hand and was by my side in theatre for my cesarean even staying after her shift to make sure my wishes were listened to. Thanks to her, my partner was able to tell me the sex of our baby, despite the chaos of theatre. The care she gave us was outstanding and I can never thank her enough for everything she did for my family. She is a credit to the hospital and her profession.
