Rachel was there to cry and comfort them when their patient lost a baby, when the ICU team lost a mom and baby, and when they performed a c-section in their ICU room to prevent a loss.
This nurse has played a major part in taking care of the OB Covid + patients. She not only coordinated the care of several very sick patients, but she also took on the role and treated every one of these patients like family. She stayed long hours, worked on their cases from home, and poured her heart and soul into each one of these patients. She provided care for these patients and worked with the L&D team to make sure we were treating these patients with respect. She not only worked with the families of these patients, but she also worked closely with the ICU RNs and staff.

Rachel was there to cry and comfort them when their patient lost a baby, when the ICU team lost a mom and baby, and when they performed a c-section in their ICU room to prevent a loss. She's maintained a personal relationship with a few RNs from the ICU because they bonded over these patients. She is selfless. She bonds with her specialty patients and the teams that take care of them.
