Rachel Holmstrom, RN
Rachel Homstrom, RN, has been a nurse on the Med/Surg unit for over 7 years, and was recently recognized by four patients for the excellent treatment they received while in her care. Rachel's compassionate care, along with her sunny personality, help perk up the patients during their stay in the hospital. Here is some of the praise Rachel received from her patients: "She is so caring and made my stay so much brighter." "She has a heart of gold!" She clearly is dedicated to her work and her compassion shows." "When I was admitted to the hospital, I was greeted by the most caring and compassionate RN a patient could have. She had genuine sympathy for me dealing with PTSD." "I know that GEMS like this nurse are hard to come by. She definitely is in the correct field of the nursing profession and Ascension St. Joseph Hospital is fortunate to have her on their team." "Rachel jumped through many hoops to ensure that I was able to have my State and Federal licensed service dog with me during my stay. She made "passes" for my dog to come and go into the facility with ease."
