We had an unfortunate man who passed away suddenly at age 42. His wife had a severe grief reaction after receiving the news. Rachel was with me as I told the family. As a charge nurse, she coordinated the care of all the other patients while never leaving the side of the grieving wife and small children. She was able to calm the wife down and help this suffering family to grieve and be comforted during this horrible day.
