The overall experience when I entered the ED was good, considering how I felt. Then I was admitted around 8PM and was greeted by a friendly face and warm welcome of "We have been waiting for you." It was my night shift nurse, Rachel, who lost no time getting me ready and prepping me for my stay. I felt terrible and very weak, but she made me feel secure and in very capable hands. She explained everything to me and answered all my questions of which were many. She continually checked on me and made sure all my needs were met.
