To begin, I cannot put into words the impact this woman had on my family. I knew something was wrong with my baby; when Rachel came in, I took a breath of fresh air. She put a probe on Q’s head because the monitors couldn’t find his heart rate, and within what felt like seconds, she was wheeling my bed out the door to have a c-section. She bagged my son for what felt like probably 40-45 minutes, even when she was at the end of her shift. Rachel, you are my son’s angel, and I know he would not be alive if it weren’t for you. You saved my boy!
