I am 45 years old and have never been sick enough to require surgery or a hospital stay. My experience was having such bad stomach pains sent me to the ER and having a CT scan that revealed a mass on my ovaries. I had to have a hysterectomy.

This has been a very trying time for myself and my family. Rachel K. was one of my nurses, and to be honest, I don’t think my husband and I would have done it without her. She is the kindest, considerate, and caring person I have ever met. Her level of care for not only myself, but my husband was hands down the best care we received while hospitalized.

My husband stayed with me every night, instead of having to sleep on a recliner chair. Rachel made sure there was an extra bed for him. Hearing that cancer is possible in our situation is hard to swallow, and Rachel was our little angel through this process. She truly is such a special human being, so kind and genuine and a shining example of what a nurse is.

I looked forward to seeing her every morning and am so grateful she was my nurse. My hope for anyone who is going through what we are going through is that they have a Rachel K. to take care of them because she truly is an angel, and I will be forever grateful for her and her level of care. Banner is lucky to have her.
