Rachel Knickerbocker, RN

We nominate Rachel for the DAISY Award not because of one specific situation but for her overall exceptional patient care. Rachel displayed professionalism as the RN making sure M's needs were met, but it was her compassion and personal interactions with M as well as with us that really made a lasting impression. She listened to our concerns and showed understanding. Kept a good report for the doctor and was there whenever we needed her. All of these things at the very least made it an easy decision to nominate her. HMC is fortunate to have Rachel on their team.
