Rachel L Dahm, RN

Rachel cared for a former nurse that had anxiety regarding a possible diagnosis. At shift change, while giving report to the next nurse, Rachel stopped report and helped calm her patient. She sat on the bed, talked, brushed hair, prayed with, and sang to the patient. Rachel stayed long after her shift ended to comfort the patient and the patient recognized her for her loving kindness and really going above and beyond.
