I had a lot of good and loving nurses during my 13 nights in Sanford (5 nights in Ortho S. University/8 nights on 5 floor surgical). Rachel really stood out, though. I can tell this is her calling. She is friendly, funny, caring, and sweet. She knew my pain signals better than I did, and was conscientious about my care. She prayed with me at my request. She was wonderful about helping me come up with questions to ask my Dr.'s, making a list of the questions, and coming in to my room to help facilitate my Dr. visits and make sure my questions got answered. Rachel is a younger nurse, and excellent at her job, and I hope she does this for many years with as much humor, passion, and friendliness as she does now. Thank you, Rachel.
