We were rushed into parenthood 10-1/2 weeks earlier than expected with the birth of our daughter E. Uncertain expectations and nerves were in full force, but our first trip down to the NICU we were placed with Rachel being paired up with taking care of E. She was a blessing in helping us get through a tough time due to her compassionate care for our daughter and comforting care for us as first-time parents. She was able to explain the “medical side” to my wife, a physician, as well as me, someone who has been in the hospital only a couple of times. We are so thankful for Rachel and her care for our sweet E.
