I was in the PICU with my son M for two weeks. M has had so many admissions over his 17 years that I stopped counting. One thing they've all had in common was me at his bedside, never leaving until now. Rachel was so attentive, kind & reassuring that I felt confident to spend a whole night away from his bedside. It was her loving & caring spirit and knowledge as a clinician that gave me the confidence to feel safe enough to leave. It was the first time in 17 years that I was able to have respite & no worries. I knew my son was safe. That feeling is priceless! 'Thank you' will never be enough. Love Rachel!
