Rachel Napier, LPN

I saw Rachel speak so kindly to a patient and let her know that it was okay. The lady was saying she was blind and afraid. Rachel remained calm and comforted the patient. The patient was confused but stayed calm with Rachel there. A day earlier, it took 4 people to help the same patient. It was clear from her compassion and patience with this patient that she went above and beyond, doing what others could not. Rachel went one step further by hanging signs in the room to help this patient: to let people entering the room know she is blind and that she gets scared easily, and to explain every step clearly.
