Rachel was nominated by a patient she cared for due to her unwavering commitment to her safety and comfort. She stated that when she saw there was an emergency on the unit, she thought her medications would be delayed, but you saw her starting to get anxious and quickly went into the room to comfort her. She added, "I flew into panic mode, but Rachel exemplified true dedication, compassion, understanding, and a level of professionalism that allowed me to calm down, and this was no easy feat."
