We were amazed at Rachel's dedication and compassion. She didn't know us, yet cared so much. She learned about my husband's condition to better understand our experience. She gave my husband a back and foot rub. He told me later, this made him so relaxed and comfortable, he knew he was going to get great care that night. As I slept in a chair, I felt relaxed and calm, Rachel put a warm blanket over me! We had an "angel" looking over us. When my husband was disoriented, she never lost her cool, put him back in bed, re?hooked up the monitors, and calmed his fears. She then checked on him after he was transferred to another unit. We will always remember her loving care.
