Rachel has been the materials manager for many years for the humatarian organization, Plasticos. Plasticos sponsors trips to poor countries to perform and teach surgeons cleft lip/palate surgery. Rachel has almost single handedly devised supply lists, obtains supplies and wraps & resterilizes donated surgical items. Rachel travels with the team to these countries on her own time. She is an exceptional nurse who has made a difference in the lives of many children in less fortunate circumstances.
