I traveled here alone with my 2-year-old son. Post-op in the PICU, after my son stopped throwing up and was calmer, Nurse Rachel noticed how tired and exhausted I was. She noticed I hadn't eaten since. She then told me that she would gladly watch over my son so that I could eat and get some well-needed rest. She was so genuine and supportive that I took her offer to get some much-needed rest. She took good care of my son.
