Rachel is a model nurse. She's thoughtful, listens, explains, and makes sure you understand your condition and medication. She didn't just come to see about me once or twice or when she only had to give medicine. She would pass by and check on me.
After Bariatric surgery, I was in so much pain and the pain wasn't getting any better. Rachel kept trying to make me feel better. She called my doctor over and over during my stay trying with all she could to give me comfort, she treated me like family.
Rachel shows love for her job and love for her patients. She has a huge heart. She truly cared about my emotions, pain level, and comfort. She entered my room with a big smile on her face and she speaks to you like she has known you forever.
Rachel was also very concerned about my wife's comfort, by offering a blanket and a sheet.
I may not say all that Rachel actually did for me and my family, but she is definitely a true DAISY Nurse. You have no idea how she touched our hearts. She has the substance, compassion, and she's very informative. The bad thing about leaving Nix Hospital is we couldn't take her with us. She is truly heaven sent. Extraordinary plus!
