Rachel made me feel “seen” and made me feel like I was her top priority.
Rachel is one of the most compassionate people we have encountered at Memorial Hospital. With the ups and downs of cancer treatments, I have encountered many great nurses. Many fantastic nurses work at this hospital, but Rachel stands out. Rachel made me feel “seen” and made me feel like I was her top priority. She was very prompt with every request, which made me feel less scared about being sick. She calmed my concerns when the patient next door was yelling, soothed my mood, and even made me laugh with her happy demeanor. There were a couple of times she had to help other nurses with the patient next door, which helped them and demonstrated teamwork and collaboration. My husband also said she was very caring. He was grateful for her efficient responses and her cheerful smile. Sometimes, it’s a relatable story or empathy for the situation that really makes all of the difference and helps the healing process. It’s nurses like Rachel who make me feel that Memorial Hospital delivers the highest level of care. I thank you and my family thanks you for providing superior care through hiring superstars like Rachel. We love Rachel. She is excellent, helpful, empathetic, and a wonderful person.
