Rachel Tigol, RN

Nurse Rachel was my night nurse during my stay. Every night, she’d come into my room to make sure I was comfortable. She eased my anxiety whenever things felt too tense, and she was gentle during the night when waking me for my meds. Most importantly, she saw me as a human.

I have Achondroplasia Dwarfism. Nurse Rachel was gentle and made sure I knew that I wasn’t a burden for feeling the way I did. She impacted my emotional and mental state for the better. She is extraordinary.
