There are times when, medically, you enter a tornado that can completely turn your life upside down. My husband had an abdominal wall injury, ending up with a wound over his stomach. This road he/we were placed upon was demanding. It was not until our wound care nurse Rachel entered our circle that we would be taught what was needed for application and signs to be aware of to tackle this challenging road ahead. When discharged, she provided her cell so we would always have support and still work with her on this road. She is absolutely an angel working through impossible situations.
