Treat your patient as if they are your family. Every time I received commendations from patients, they always have that to say about Rocky. She has been a very caring, hardworking, and Extraordinary Nurse to our patients. I can still remember her excellent nursing care to Mr. T. For more than a year, Mr. T was treated and cared for by Rocky way above what was expected from her. She always starts her shift checking on the patient’s day. They sing together, pray and she motivates her patient by saying that in time he will get better. I have seen her staying with Mr. T many times. She did not leave her patient even after her shift ended. Even in the ICU she visits Mr. T and will sing for him for a faster recovery and looks forward to being back in 15 North. The NCG knows how difficult Mr. T is to handle because of his condition. However, with Rocky’s determination, extraordinary nursing care, and treating her patient like family, she made a difference and impacted her patient. Now Mr. T is doing great. Thanks to the excellent nursing care by Rocky. She will always be remembered as a nurse name Rocky who rocks the lives and hearts of our patients.
