Rachel Vogler, BSN, RN

Rachel was our daughter's day nurse. My daughter was in extreme pain all day long, and she was losing tons of blood and fluids through her chest tube. She was scared and in pain. Rachel had other patients that day to tend to but was with my daughter continuously, taking vitals, giving meds, giving plasma, giving blood. Doctors were calling and stopping by our room non-stop. Rachel was so kind to my crying daughter, and she helped me through the worst day of my life. I was alone - but I had Rachel! Rachel stayed late to wheel my daughter to emergency heart surgery, hugged me, and came to see me/us the next morning in the PICU. I am so grateful for Rachel's dedication to her patients and their families on the TCU floor.
