Rachel is a fantastic nurse leader, and this was especially evident in shaping and implementing primary care transformation/team-based care changes continuously throughout the past year. Rachel collaborated on several projects within PCT related to standard work, such as second-level triage and standardized scheduling and documenting of blood pressure checks. She effectively works with several of her colleagues and other departments in order to find solutions that work for all while maintaining advocacy for the people she's closest to. Rachel shows incredible amounts of compassion for her team as she's been leading her team in Melrose to be a front-runner for FM in transformative change. With this comes many difficult conversations balancing support and accountability, and Rachel succeeds in these conversations with her understanding of compassion through the "pit" of change. Rachel maintains a high level of clinical excellence through her leadership and is always ready to jump on the floor at a moment's notice or provide in-basket support to maintain a smooth momentum on tough days. Rachel is a joy to collaborate with - truly - and I'm so proud to work with her.
