Rachel has delivered some of the most meaningful patient services in the history of our division. At our worst surge point in the pandemic, we had 80+ Teammates out with Covid which put our staffing under immense pressure. In addition to her CC responsibilities, Rachel worked countless nights and weekends to cover shifts so that our patients would feel as little impact as possible during a very scary time for them. Once January arrived, she then singularly devoted herself to the vaccine effort – including administration, inventory tracking, vial counting, storage, and security. Again, she continued to work outside her normal hours and above and beyond her normal responsibilities in order to ensure that everyone who wanted the vaccine had the opportunity to get it. She showed true Service Excellence and Accountability that we know our patients will be forever grateful for.
