I believe she deserves the DAISY Award and is a great role model for her kids. She is knowledgeable and tremendously caring and it is contagious in the milieu.

It is so hard to pick which principle she demonstrates because she exemplifies them all to the highest degree. Rachel is always willing to help a patient, always looking out for their best interests. There are patients that just want to talk to Rachel to check-in and she makes time for everyone. Our patients struggle with drug abuse and Rachel remembers each personal situation and checks-in daily. I can't choose a specific case/patient because she does it all! She is also never late or absent, never complains, and is the brightest soul to be around!
Rachel goes above and beyond for patients. She checks in with SafeQuest patients even though they are not her focus and always lets staff know that she is readily available. She's an excellent nurse and is committed to her job and performance.
