Rachel is tireless in the pursuit of compassionate care. She has an easy way about her when she communicates with her patients, families and co-workers. Even amongst her busy schedule of work, school and home life, she expresses her ideas in ways she would like to make patient care improvements.
She is a nurse where her work shines through her.
She helped me deal with a family emergency session.
Rachel is wonderful - she always goes above and beyond, and not just with her own patients. She is always willing to help her co-workers and other programs. She embodies the C.A.R.E. mission and is everything a nurse should be.
Rachel demonstrates all of the I CARE principles. She goes above and beyond with the kiddos and makes it a desirable environment.
Rachel embodies all of the I CARE principles as a Nurse for the co-occurring disorders unit. Rachel goes above and beyond with all her patients and leaves a lasting impression. I believe she deserves the DAISY Award and is a great role model for her kids. She is knowledgeable and tremendously caring and it is contagious in the milieu.
Rachel consistently meets with patients in crisis and de-escalates them while maintaining all the I C.A.R.E. principles.
It is so hard to pick which principle she demonstrates because she exemplifies them all to the highest degree. Rachel is always willing to help a patient, always looking out for their best interests. There are patients that just want to talk to Rachel to check-in and she makes time for everyone. Our patients struggle with drug abuse and Rachel remembers each personal situation and checks-in daily. I can't choose a specific case/patient because she does it all! She is also never late or absent, never complains, and is the brightest soul to be around!
Rachel goes above and beyond for patients. She checks in with SafeQuest patients even though they are not her focus and always lets staff know that she is readily available. She's an excellent nurse and is committed to her job and performance.
