I was admitted for induction for our baby girl. I was scared out of my mind with each passing minute. The first night doesn’t even compare to the rest of the time I was there. This nurse became my nurse on the second day of being there. She was so sweet and did as much as she could for me to relieve my nerves. She talked with me and answered any questions I had without making it seem like I was a bother. I’m a first-time mom, so the questions were probably random. She helped me talk out the pros and cons of certain things I wanted for my labor experience and never judged me. She held my hand when I was freaking out and scared of what was to come. When I had to have an emergency c-section, I remember her being the last person I saw before I went out. She never left my side. She was the one who took the first pictures of my husband and baby girl because I was still under anesthesia. He was just as scared as I was! When I got back into the room with my baby, she was there congratulating me. I never knew a nurse could make such an impression on someone. Both my husband and I are so grateful for her and everything she has done for us!
