Rachelle went out of her way to help a young woman who was homeless and physically abused. She called a pastor of a church in the middle of the night to set up living arrangements for this woman so she would not have to return to the abusive relationship. She brought the woman to her home, fed her, then brought her to the church. She truly cared about her patients and for this the ER staff nominates Rachelle for the DAISY Award.
