As a Clinical II Nurse on 3N, Rachelle has earned the reputation as someone who not only models empathetic and compassionate care, but as someone who is not afraid to think outside of the box and try new ways of doing things. Rachelle's above-and-beyond philosophy has warranted multiple nominations for the Applause program and Values in Action award by staff, patients and their families. One patient recently said

"Rachelle has been an exceptional nurse to me. The patience and care she has shown after my surgery are more than words can say. It's nurses like her who make hospital visits worth staying. No matter what time I'd call, she was always pleasant and willing to go the extra step for me. I only wish there was something I could do for her for all she has done for me."

Rachelle's one-step-further approach doesn't stop at patient care. It extends to her co-workers through her morale boosting efforts.
