Of all the nurses who took care of me, Racquel stood out for her professional interaction with patients and coworkers and her leadership. I could see the other nurses and PCTs looked to her for input, direction, and leadership. But what stood out most for me was how she took the time to connect with me and to get to know me as a person. She made me feel comfortable talking about why I was here (my eating disorder). I felt I could trust her with anything I told her. I also got to know about her family and special needs son which really touched me.
