I have to start off by saying I never had a nurse like Racquel! From the moment I got admitted, she was a breath of fresh air. She has been so kind and empathetic. Her bedside manner is how every RN’s bedside manner should be! She has made sure to be on time with my medication to make sure my pain is under control! Having Lupus and Fibromyalgia, you look ok but feel horrible, and people judge you for that. Racquel has been caring and kind; she comes and goes with a smile and kind words. She doesn’t rush; she listens to you and treats you more than just another patient. I haven’t been eating or drinking, and she said let’s try ice chips and I have been able to at least enjoy that while being so sick. She is so over-deserving of this award, and she needs to be recognized for her amazing, kind heart. Thank you, Racquel, for treating me so kindly and making me feel that I matter! You are truly one of a kind!
