Raeesah Alli, RN

Raeesah is one of the best nurses I have had the privilege of meeting in my lifetime. Her compassion and attention to detail are second to none. Throughout our lengthy stay after my daughter's open-heart surgery and recovery, Raeesah continued to be a ray of light on dark days. Our trust in her to not only care for our daughter but also advocate for what was best for her continued to grow throughout our stay. We had the privilege of having her as a nurse during a previous stay on 4D and knew that she was wonderful, but the more she was a part of our daughter's team, the deeper our appreciation of and respect for her grew. If I could recommend her for all the awards, I would. She brought us so many smiles, laughs and moments where we felt like a "normal" family doing "normal" things like bath time. A true gem of a human being and someone we will deeply miss. Her future patients have no idea yet how lucky they are to have her join their team. I hope she remains an integral part of 4D for many years to come - I can confidently say the floor is a better place with a nurse of her caliber and compassion working there. We will miss seeing her often!
