I am a new PWH staff employee. I work in the ED. As we all know EDs are very high volume and busy throughout the day and night. When I came to work my shift, I would see the patients and their assigned nurse for the day.

Raegan would most likely have this complex patient along with other assigned patients. Staff would work along with Raegan to assist her in any way. This patient required special needs and respiratory throughout the day and night. This patient would sometimes yell out Raegan's name to come assist him. I think they had a bond. This patient is a 26-year-old male with a diagnosis of CP, chronic respiratory failure, and an intellectual disability. I would see Raegan manage her other assigned patients as well as constantly assisting this patient. Raegan even found time to contact the patient’s family and give reports and updates and of course, chart her notes. Staff would often offer her a lunch break as she well deserved. Raegan worked professionally and tirelessly devoted and never complained once. I think Raegan is an outstanding nurse and I commend her for her exceptional bedside manners.
