While I was a patient under her care, she took the time to talk to me and my loved one about expectations and hope. I was extremely depressed and probably even close to suicidal, although I didn't voice it. I had cried most of the night and I was in no mood for a "speech" from a nurse with two good arms and legs. I didn't get a speech. I received a kind and compassionate caring talk, a smile, a warm, heartfelt hand on my hand, and a loving talk about how even in my condition, I made her smile with my silly jokes. She is an asset to this hospital and an awesome nurse!!
