Raelyn Branch, RN

To start, Raelyn is an exceptional nurse every day she works! But I wanted to share this story where a patient was admitted to the intensive care unit for an extended period of time. Raelyn has gone above and beyond for this patient because she decorated our inpatient chapel and organized a celebration for her patient and her husband to renew their wedding vows. She was able to gather the cutest decorations and all of the necessary supplies to help her patient and partner to have this celebration while she was struggling with her health and decompensated status. I was grateful to be on this day to celebrate with the patient, her partner, and my colleagues. This exemplified the selflessness and compassion that Raelyn brings to work every day. I feel that for this, Raelyn is deserving of the DAISY award.
