I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude to the entire WKBH 3 South staff who oversaw my mother during her hospital stay. Despite the limitations brought about by COVID 19 pandemic and visiting hours were uncertain for family and friends, I could definitely say that I was able to sleep peacefully at night knowing that my family member is in great hands. The entire department staff was phenomenal, however, I would like to specifically point out one person whose level of professionalism, compassion, care, and dedication made all the difference in this unprecedented time, their name is Rafael Rodriguez Leon. He was my mother's nurse throughout most of her stay. I can say with confidence that she could not have been in better hands. Rafael made sure that she was updated with her plans of care, responds to her needs (medical) quickly in the safest and most efficient manner possible. Having the knowledge that Rafael is at the bedside with my mother made me very comfortable leaving her overnight at the hospital in my absence. He is so patient with educating and re-educating us with her care and I am deeply grateful for his service excellence. I work in the medical field and have never come across a nurse where the level of care matched that of Rafael's. Overall, I am deeply grateful to the entire staff but most especially for Rafael's role in my mother's full recovery.
