Being afraid of procedures, I was in panic when the doctor advised me to do an incision and drainage for a cyst. Due to my apprehension, I requested medications instead of the procedure. However, it was the nurse who eased my anxiety and explained to me the benefits of I&D. That was not all; she stayed with me throughout the procedure so that I could be comfortable. What moved me the most was that after the procedure, she called me every day to check on me and advised me on Dos and Don’ts for faster healing. Now, I have recovered, and I am eternally grateful to the nurse who made this journey a pleasant experience. Thank You!
