I am very thankful to Nurse Rajeswari Nanu. She was assigned to my son after he was taken for admission. For the first 24 hours after the operation, we are not allowed inside my son's room because he is still intubated. We can only see him but cannot stay a long time. This thought makes us worried as the nurse was of another nationality from us. I'm thinking, it will be better if the nurse was Filipino like us so we can communicate easily. But we were happy to see that we are wrong in our assumptions that she might not be a good nurse to our son because when I saw how Nurse Rajeswari does her tasks and she handles my son. The way she's comforting him and talking to him, and how she took care of him, I was very happy. I saw someone who thinks that my son is not just a patient but also her very own son. She was also concerned about me asking how I am doing. She tucks my baby to sleep and lets me rest as well.
I salute Nurse Rajeswari, who even of different nationalities, gives my son extraordinary care and treatment. She never fails to explain things concerning my son's care.
