Most everyone at the MUSC DT and NE, as well as Fairfield campuses, have crossed paths with Ralph. He provides the required ACLS, BLS, and PALS education classes to all employees requiring these certifications. Ralph maintains professionalism at all times. His classes are educational yet entertaining and fun. Most of us feel pressure to perform Mega-codes and surprise Mock codes, but he prepares all of us well. We pray that we don’t ever have to use these tools, but he makes sure we are prepared. Ralph also works in the community, demonstrating and teaching life-saving techniques. It is also amazing that he is able to stay up to date with ever-changing guidelines. He keeps MUSC on the cutting edge. He is the one who indirectly takes care of every patient that comes to MUSC DT, NE, or Fairfield because the skills he teaches employees allow safe and consistent care throughout. He does an excellent job and would be a very proud recipient of the coveted DAISY Award. Thanks, Ralph, for all that you do for MUSC.
