Dr. Upadhyaya, Instructor, Nursing & Lead Instructor, Practical Nursing, is one of eight visionary nursing leaders to co-found the American Correctional Nurses Association- the first association for nurses who work in the American Justice system.
With over 35 years of diverse experience in healthcare, he brings a deep commitment to patient care, education, and professional development to correctional nursing and rehabilitation. Dr. Upadhyaya has taken a leadership role in numerous state and national associations, including ACNA, the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, the National League for Nursing, and the American Assembly for Men in Nursing.
He strives to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals with dedication and humility through teaching, mentoring, and giving back to the profession.
