Ramiro Cardenas, BSN, RN

Ramiro is outstanding and deserves recognition. As a patient, I was having an extremely rough day, to the point that I could not get out of bed. Ramiro came into my room and sat on the floor for more than an hour, talking me through the spiral I was in. He was compassionate, honest, and realistic. He had a caring attitude and was patient with me, even when I knew he had many other things to attend to. It was simply outstanding. I spent many days on that floor, and he continually reassured me, truly saving my life on multiple occasions. Even after I was discharged, he followed up on how I was doing. He kindly asked if he could share my status with other staff members who were hoping I was doing well. He is a fantastic asset to the nursing profession.
