This nurse always spends extra time on patient care after her shift is finished. There are many examples of this, but one that stands out is when I had a patient from R.A.K with cerebral palsy, and the mother had to arrange for transport on her own, and it was costing so much. She called and arranged for the MRI, ortho instruments, and anesthesia pre-op appointments to all be done on the same day, just to reduce the burden of multiple trips. She has done similar things by helping people without insurance by spending her time after hours to find orthotic or physio options. She goes well beyond her duty to care for patients, and it shows. I would like to nominate Nurse Rana for what I noticed first of all, from her kind way of dealing with people, and after dealing with her, I learned that she is well-mannered and loves to help everyone, especially the elderly and children.
