I arrived at the PCU with a very bad pain.  From the start, Ranceila was very compassionate and understanding of the pain and the situation.  During the time I was under her care, she was aware of my needs and made sure that the rest of the team, including the doctor, was aware of my needs.  She was able to get other team members to assist if she was busy bathing or toileting.  She was also very courteous with my guests, asking them if they were ok or needed something.

I had a wonderful shift with Ranceila.  She was so sweet and took such good care of me.  She came in to check on me a lot and explained everything.  She calmed me down when I had a panic attack.  When I had questions, she took time to answer.

She is not one of the nurses who runs in and out.  She answered my dumb questions gladly.  She should be recognized for such good service.  She has a whole floor of people dependent on her, yet I felt like I was the only one she had.

Ranceila, thank you for all you do.  Your compassion and kindness towards my mother has not gone unnoticed.  We appreciate you.
