Randall covered during another nurse's break. One of his 1st questions to us was "has he felt comfortable at all since he was transferred?" Upon hearing "no" Randall contacted a doctor and began asking other questions. He then gave my son Maalox for indigestion and Benadryl for itching the drugs were causing. He also said he believed my son should have the epidural re-connected that had been disconnected when he transferred here. Since that was the major difference in pain management, I believe Randall is correct. I also believe Randall will advocate for this so that my son will be more comfortable. I truly appreciate Randall's concern and expertise. Randall then cleaned up my son, put lotion and powder on him and this made him feel a lot better. In general, Randall seemed to know what needed to be done and he made sure my son was as comfortable as possible.
