Randi Galligan, BSN, RN
Randi has been an RN in our OR for 11 years. I’ve had the honor of working with her all those years. She works full time here as well as being a wife and a fantastic mother to her two young boys. She has taken on numerous projects at work. She is the team lead for ENT surgeries. Her MDs love her for her knowledge of ENT and her willingness to learn new procedures. Everyone is relieved to know she is around when we have a full ENT day. Randi is also our lead for the organ donor network.
In addition, Randi works in the SPA when needed. I know she is there for me when I need something out of the ordinary. I received a call from the Hospital Coordinator asking if anyone from Anesthesia was available to start a pediatric IV. Randi was available and agreed to attempt. She went to the child, who was a terrified young boy crying hysterically and sitting on his hands. Randi was able to calm him down, and after about 30 minutes, he let her put the IV in.
Randi is an amazing RN and is a true DAISY Nurse.
