Randi is a true example of an exemplary nurse! As long as my son is in her care, I know he is getting the best of care.
My son has been in the psych ER unit for 8 days and Randi has been so incredibly wonderful. She cares deeply for her patients, and it shows. She has attended to my son and made him as comfortable as possible. She has gone above and beyond to make his difficult stay here manageable. He has developed a relationship with her and that is saying a lot considering he has autism. His communication skills are limited and she is so patient and kind and takes the time to speak to him. She remembers things he likes and always brings a smile to his face. She has taken him on walks to get out of his room and made accommodations for him to be able to shower and get cleaned up. She even comes and checks on him when he isn’t her patient for the day.

She has offered emotional support to me as his mom as well. When I couldn’t be here with him, she would call me and update me and assure me that he was being well cared for. This has been so hard on me and my son and Randi has been the one ray of sunshine that gives us hope that we will get through this. She was there when my son had an episode that required security and some restraint. She was calm and quick and knew just what to do. At the same time, she was caring and compassionate. I cannot even express in words what a difference she has made for us. Randi is a true example of an exemplary nurse! As long as my son is in her care, I know he is getting the best of care. There aren’t even words sufficient enough to express my gratitude to her. She is truly a blessing.
