I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Rantreva Peaches during the Memorial Day weekend. We had a teen mom who had her baby via C-section. The teen was very unprepared for motherhood and required hours of education, attention, guidance and even some "tough love". The team requested a more senior nurse than the traveler that was assigned and Rantreva happily made room in her routine to accommodate this mother. She responded to the call light about 6 times an hour and she never showed frustration or impatience and fully assisted the teen mom with breastfeeding and home care education. At discharge, the teen's mother (the baby's grandmother) thanked Rantreva profusely and genuinely for her special attention.
