Raquel Garcia is an amazing, caring nurse. No matter how bad her shifts can be, she always has a smile on her face and such a positive attitude. One day, Raquel had a long term patient who stated that she didn't feel pretty. Raquel went out of her way and gave the patient a spa treatment. She brought her own stuff to work, and gave the woman a facial. The patient was so appreciative and "felt pretty again."
On another occasion, Raquel agreed to keep a patient for continuity of care. Afterwards, the patient was so thankful and felt relief. She said, " I always want Raquel as my nurse," then fell right to sleep.
If I was a patient in the hospital, I'd want Raquel as my nurse. On top of all this, Raquel is a team player and always offers to help her peers out when needed.
