Raquel was nominated by a patient who said that she always felt at home in this hospital because of her presence. From the beginning of her sickness, when she was so weak and depressed, she was the “healing angel” with a calming voice and a warming smile who never gets bored and never gets tired of comforting people around her even if she is not the assigned nurse to the patient. She also comes up with solutions to problems that are brought to her by her staff and she is always ready to extend a hand to her colleagues. The patient mentioned that she has known Raquel when she was still a staff nurse in the Medical Surgical Unit and now that she is already a Nurse Manager, she still has the same care for patients as before.
